Terms of Service

This Terms of Service (“ToS”) agreement supplements the Terms and Conditions and governs the EdgeUno production services (collectively, the “Services”).
1. Definitions
- “Service” means any EdgeUno-provided infrastructure: VPS, VPC, Bare Metal, Cloud White Label, AI Sandbox, and supporting network services (BGP, Anycast, DDoS mitigation, IP transit).
- “Downtime” means a sustained period during which the Service is materially unavailable, excluding scheduled maintenance announced at least 72 hours in advance.
- “Service Credit” means a monetary credit applied to a future invoice as compensation for failure to meet the SLA.
2. Service-Level Agreement

Credits are capped at 100% of the monthly fee for the affected Service and applied automatically to the next invoice.
Exclusions
The SLA does not cover Downtime caused by: customer configuration error; force majeure (including widespread internet routing failures outside our AS); third-party software; DDoS attacks that exceed published mitigation capacity (announced separately).
3. Maintenance windows
Standard maintenance windows: Sunday 02:00–06:00 UTC. Customer is notified at least 72 hours in advance for impacting changes and at least 7 days in advance for major upgrades.
4. Data backups and retention
- VPS: nightly snapshots retained 14 days (included).
- VPC: customer-defined retention up to 90 days (included for first 50 GB; metered above).
- Bare Metal: customer-managed; optional managed-backup service available.
- AI Sandbox: ephemeral by design; no automatic backups.
Customer is responsible for off-site / off-platform backups of critical data.
5. Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)
In addition to the AUP in Section 2 of the Terms and Conditions:
- Outbound mail: SMTP relay limited to authenticated senders with proper SPF / DKIM / DMARC. We may rate-limit or block unauthenticated outbound port 25.
- Cryptocurrency mining is permitted on Bare Metal and AI Sandbox only — not on VPS shared compute.
- Reverse-proxy / open-resolver services require advance approval to prevent abuse-related incidents on our AS.
- Penetration testing of your own infrastructure on EdgeUno is permitted with 48-hour advance notice to security@edgeuno.com.
6. Network policy
- Customer-owned IP ranges (BYOIP) must be announced from AS7195 only with our written approval.
- Anycast advertisements must conform to RFC 7115 and our peering policy.
- We provide always-on DDoS mitigation up to the published volumetric capacity; larger attacks are mitigated on a best-effort basis or via an upgraded mitigation service.
7. Liability cap
The total liability of either party in respect of all claims arising under this ToS is limited to the greater of (a) the fees paid by Customer in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) USD 10,000.
8. Modifications
Material modifications to this ToS are announced 30 days in advance and require explicit acceptance via the Portal for the change to take effect for existing customers.
9. Jurisdiction
Disputes are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts of Miami-Dade County, Florida.
